- Nexus Energía expands throughout Andalusia
Green energy is expanding all over Andalusia thanks to Nexus Energía, which is offering its competitive electricity and gas products to both public institutions and to key companies in the region.
On June 28 of this year, Mr Francisco Rodríguez García, the Deputy Mayor of Dos Hermanas, and Jon Macías, Sales Director of Nexus Energía, signed a renewable contract to supply electricity to the city in Seville. After a public bidding process, Nexus Energía was chosen to supply all of the city’s electricity (19.6 GWh), which includes the public lighting, municipal buildings and specific events in the city. Nexus Energía submitted the best proposal in terms of cost, in addition to offering discounts on the power, rental of measurement equipment and 100% renewable energy.
Jon Macías, Sales Director of Nexus Energía, noted: “It’s an honour for us to provide green energy to Dos Hermanas, the most populated city in the province of Seville after the capital, and to help make the region more sustainable. Cities are increasingly opting for renewable energies, and Nexus Energía will always be there to offer that service”.
Also, on 2 April we signed the electricity supply contract with Roquetas del Mar, in Almeria. After a public tender process, Nexus Energía was contracted to supply the city’s low-voltage electricity, involving 8.96 GWh and 178 supply points.
